i love my boss

If you read my post in titled Are You So LUCKY To Be Self-Employed or Not?! and you still think that self employment is your best career option, YOU might be right and it is possibly your way to go

It is NOT easy to know what is believe about self-employment. Just try to tell anyone you're considering starting your own small business, and you will see ,how many of conflicting advices and different perspectives you will get .

To help you make a decision whether or not the entrepreneurship is your next career move,it's vital to defy some common myths:

Myth: A great IDEA is what makes YOU rich.
It's not what a small business making , but how you do it . The trademark of successful companies is to service in the market for better or different way than their the competitors. Search for opportunities to improve an existing product or service, rather than inventing something completely new.

Myth: It takes a lot of money to start a business.
Some very successful companies started with a few hundred dollars. Others may cost millions and still fail. Your skills as a small business owner is what make the difference. Start small, and think big , and seek advice and be patient.

Myth: You need a business degree for the management of small businesses
despite the fact that a proper business education can help, you may in reality trip over that MBA while running your small venture. in the real world, practical skills and tactics will help more. These can be obtained easily through the courses part-time or work experience.

Myth: self-employment is much more risky than getting a job.
I think The security is the result of control, self-employment gives you more control over your income THAN your regular job. EVEN if you client fire you or put you off you still can do what you do and attract more clients .

Myth: Self-employment is a very complicated.
Self-employment might seems complex because there is a lot to learn at the start, such as accounting, taxation, payroll, legal issues, insurance, and so it takes time to learn the basics, but most of it is not difficult. Get yourself a good book on the subject, and will be a major breakthrough. Do not let your first access to the learning curve get you down. You just need to know this information once.

Those are myths that can hold you back if you want to start your new small business and if you have more please tell us about it and lets all challenge them...
